As an art student researching multi-cultural metalsmithing traditions, metales casados (married metals) from Mexico and mokume gane (wood grain metal) from Japan fascinated and inspired me. Blending elements of each technique enabled me to create a hybrid fusion of multicolor and multi-karat gold compositions, each with its own unique rhythm and flow.
